2020 ESTATE MICHO MAGNUM

Named after Georges & Daniel Daou's sister who lived life to the fullest and brought an element of fun everywhere she went. For the month of October, we celebrate Micho and everyone who has been impacted by breast cancer.

Micho is our signature blend of two iconic Bordeaux varietals, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, showcasing the elegance, freshness and concentration that can only be attained on DAOU Mountain. The 2020 vintage offers a rich, warm nose of boysenberry cobbler, fresh raspberry, cocoa and sandalwood with nuances of pomegranate, tobacco leaf and baking spices. Subtle notes of saddle leather, mocha and vanilla provide complexity and balance. A velvety, graceful palate delivers generous flavors of black plum, blueberry and blackberry accented by cassis, desert sage, crushed stone, black licorice and hints of toasty oak. Ripe, well integrated tannins support a long, silky finish with lingering impressions of cherry, cedar and black olive.
