This wine belongs to DAOU’s Curious Collection, featuring three-limited edition wines that reflect a spirit of experimentation and innovation under Winemaker Daniel Daou. Blend 52B is a unique cuvée of Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache Blanc that was given extra time to develop, resulting in an elegant wine of sophistication and pedigree. Perfumy and floral on the nose, it offers fragrances of star jasmine and lavender around a core of white peach, fig and crème brulée. Subtle accents of mango and hyacinth contribute lush dimension. A clean, refined palate shows delicate flavors of papaya and kiwi complemented by Asian pear and Casaba melon. This wine finishes gracefully with lingering notes of citrus, honeysuckle and ginger.
