Garys' Vineyard resides in Monterey County’s venerated Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. Inspired by his friend and legendary winegrower Gary Pisoni, local multigenerational farmer Gary Franscioni planted this vineyard in 1997 and it has since become one of California’s most sought-after sources for Pinot Noir. The signatures of Garys' Vineyard include deep color, long flavors and stunning complexity.
This wine is silky on the palate, assertive yet understated notes of gooseberry. Moist earth emphasizes the combination of soil and fruit, creating a tension of flavors and textures working in harmony. The exuberant finish is bold but restrained and highlighted by lingering dried cranberry, cherry and rhubarb flavors. This Pinot expresses its effervescent personality, pureness of character, and the terroir of its California mountain heritage.
